Privacy Policy

How we collect, use and protect personal information across cloudgate.ae and our services.

Last updated 29 August 2026

This policy sets out what we collect, why we collect it, who we share it with, and the choices you have. It applies to cloudgate.ae and to the enquiries and applications you send us through it.

01Who we are

CloudGate is a Microsoft Cloud Solutions Partner headquartered at Shams Business Center, Sharjah Media City, Sharjah, United Arab Emirates, with offices in Dubai, Cairo, Riyadh, London and Bangalore.

This policy explains how we handle personal information collected through cloudgate.ae and in the course of providing our services. For any question about it, contact us at info@cloudgate.ae.

02Information you give us

We only collect what you choose to send us. When you complete a contact or enquiry form, apply for a role, or email us directly, we receive the details you provide.

  • Contact and enquiry forms: your name, email address, phone number, company and the content of your message.
  • Careers applications: the details and any documents you submit in support of your application.
  • Direct correspondence: anything you include when you email or call one of our offices.

03Information collected automatically

Our hosting and content delivery infrastructure records standard technical data needed to serve and secure the site — including IP address, browser and device type, pages requested, and timestamps. These logs are used for security, diagnostics and performance, not to build a profile of you.

We do not run advertising networks, analytics trackers or social media pixels on this site.

04Cookies

cloudgate.ae does not use advertising or analytics cookies. The only cookies set are strictly necessary ones — for example, a preference cookie in our content management system for signed-in staff. Because we set no tracking cookies, there is no consent banner to dismiss.

05How we use your information

  • To respond to your enquiry and provide the information or proposal you asked for.
  • To assess job applications and communicate with candidates.
  • To deliver, support and improve services under a contract with your organisation.
  • To keep our systems secure and investigate misuse.
  • To meet legal, regulatory and accounting obligations.

06Our lawful bases

Where data protection law requires a lawful basis, we rely on: your consent, where you have given it; the performance of a contract with you or your organisation; our legitimate interests in operating and securing our business and responding to enquiries; and compliance with legal obligations.

07How we share information

We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it for advertising.

  • Service providers: our website and databases run on Microsoft Azure. Providers act on our instructions under contract.
  • Within CloudGate: colleagues in our offices who need the information to respond to you or deliver services.
  • Professional advisers and authorities: where required by law, regulation or legal process.
  • Corporate transactions: if our business is reorganised, sold or merged, information may transfer as part of that transaction.

08International transfers

We operate across the United Arab Emirates, Egypt, Saudi Arabia, the United Kingdom and India, so your information may be accessed from, or stored in, a country other than your own. Where we transfer personal information across borders we put appropriate safeguards in place, including contractual protections with the parties involved.

09How long we keep it

We keep personal information only as long as needed for the purpose it was collected, and for any period required by law. Enquiries that do not lead to an engagement are removed once they are no longer relevant. Records connected to a contract are retained for the length of the relationship and the applicable limitation and tax periods.

10Your rights

Depending on where you live — including under the UAE Personal Data Protection Law and, where it applies, the UK and EU GDPR — you may have the right to request a copy of your personal information, to have it corrected or deleted, to object to or restrict how we use it, to withdraw consent, and to data portability.

To exercise any of these rights, email info@cloudgate.ae. We will respond within the period required by the applicable law. You also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority.

11How we protect information

Our sites and services are hosted on Microsoft Azure and served over encrypted connections. We apply access controls so that staff see only what their role requires, and we monitor our systems for security events. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to protect your information and to respond promptly if something goes wrong.

12Children's privacy

Our website and services are intended for businesses and professionals. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with information, contact us and we will delete it.

13Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as our services or the law change. The date at the top of this page shows when it was last revised, and material changes will be highlighted on this page.

14Contact us
